I have contacted many producers and music artists, we should be able to decide and come up with a good plan, this year. During my birthday three days ago, I was unable to eat sea-weed soup, it was for the preparation of my special US album, therefore this year's birthday was spent mostly on the telephone and at conferences." Rain also said that, "I feel that the cell phone is lke my girlfriend."
Upon the conclusion of LA's concert Rain will go to Germany and start filming "The Matrix" director Wachowski's new movie "Speed Racer".

Singer Rain (given name Jung Ji-hoon, 25) will hold a concert for the first time in LA on the 30th. This will be his last concert before he begins filming "Speed Racer".
During the LA press conference on the 28th (local time) at the Intercontinental Hotel, Rain expressed that, "I am extremely happy to be able to have the last concert before filming in Los Angeles where there are many overseas compatriots" and he added, "In order to unfold the best achievement in this concert I have therefore been paying attention continually to components of bodily management and diet and making necessary adjustments.
On the 30th Rain will have his concert on the main floor of the home of the LA Lakers (NBA), Staples Center. Today's press conference attracted many reporters from places such as China, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines and local Asian reporters from LA.

Rain has finally voiced out his position regarding the accusal of fraud. Now he focuses most of his time on rehearsing for his LA concert.
On June 26 (USA time), Rain expressed his position through the world tour organiser, StarM. In these few days, Rain has gone through more trainings and practices which occupied more than 12 hours per day. He hopes that the LA concert can be a wonderful and perfect show.
Singer Rain wants to prove his strength by showing his best.
In the telephone conversation with SPN on the morning of the 27th, Rain talked about his feelings, "Although I look alright, but in actual fact I'm very upset. Thus, I decided I should practise more..."
Later he added, "Instead of throwing words around, let's prove to them my strength. It seems like I have better understanding about the meaning 'try our best and the rest is up to the luck'...."

"Don't say I'm a liar!" Rain voiced out his protest.
He has officially expressed his position today.
"From now on, I'd like to express a clear standpoint." Regarding the problems coming from the Hawaii concert, Rain is expected to express his standpoint officially. A spokesman of Rain told Edaily SPN in the telephone interview on June 26 morning, "Regarding the postponement of concert as well as the rumours, Rain is very sad."
"Out of consideration for other people, Rain kept silent for some time. But if the rumours are still spreading like now, it's time for us to make a clear stand." In particular, Rain felt that it was unfair and was very upset due to the name 'liar' stamped on him because of the concert postponement.
He told others about his bad mood. "Initially we thought these (rumours) will vanish as time goes by, thus we kept silent in order to avoid messing up the situation. However, it seems like the rumours are getting wilder." said the spokesman. "When we make the official position, we shall announce more insider info at the same time." By the way, did mention the Thai Festival going on at the Royal Thai Embassy? It is just beside my office tower. The stuff are more than a tad expensive. Do not go for the massage. The prices are killing, as compared to what I got in Thailand, of course. The food are expensive too, by Thailand's standard. By Singapore's standard, it is in the slight above average range; the food costs around the same as what you pay in an air-conditioned food court.
Back to my paper.
It is 20 minutes to twelve. I want to leave. Go back and slack. But, apparently, I can't, as I have yet to clear those darn papers.
Bummer.
Today, is my last day of freedom. From tomorrow onwards, is my pre-training, training session.
To quote Rain (Bi), "I've decided to contribute my birthday to my future". He spent his birthday working, practising and refining his song and dance for his LA world tour concert. Not that it is a very, very self sacrificial thing to do; but the important thing is that he has decided to sacrifice a lot of things and train and discipline himself, in order to achieve as close to perfection as he can, in all that he has set his mind on.
Inspired and encouraged by those words, I, too have decided to contribute the following 7 to 8 years, to my future.
For the next 6 months to 1 year, they are only my pre-training, training session. The 4 to 5 years of training has yet to come.
I do not know if I can succeed or will I give up half way, but I desire to do my best. For I have no idea; what else can I do, what else should I do, what else I am able to do.
But since, I have decided, come what may, I will not regret nor look back.
This is my road.

Rain Celebrates Birthday in US; Had Udong Noodles in Place of Seaweed Soup

Rain is now in LA preparing for his concert on the 30th. On his 25th birthday, he was so busy with work, he arranged to begin the first day as a 25-year-old with Udong noodles in place of seaweed soup (in Korea, it is a must-have for the birthday boy/girl). A representative said, "As things outside his control have affected the world tour, Rain is very sad."
"Although it's his birthday and he is spending it in a foreign country, sadly, he is too busy preparing for the concert to bother about having his seaweed soup."
Apparently, singer Rain has been meeting with some people from the US recording industry to exchange opinions on issues surrounding his future entry into the US market. People around him are worried that the problems with his US world tour may depress him. On the contrary, he is said to have expressed his ambition on moving into the US market to the US recording industry people, and is currently enthusiastically throwing himself into his work.

Rain's world tour promotion & production company, StarM released official announcement regarding recent lawsuit filed by Hawaii local promoter, Click Entertainment. The main content of this announcement is Rain will counter act to the fraud lawsuit of the Hawaii concert.
Click Entertainment filed the lawsuit against Rain, StarM, JYPE, and Revolution Entertainment stating the reason for the cancellation of the Hawaii concert is to snatch the Licensing fee of $500,000.
Regarding this accusation, StarM will counter act to Click Entertainment who filed lawsuit against not only non contract related parties, StarM & JYPE but also the artiste, Rain.
Since StarM has not received actual lawsuit documents from Hawaii yet, it is not known how non related parties, StarM, JYPE and even Rain, are related to this lawsuit. StarM contradicts Click'd accusation about the cancellation of Hawaii concert and also stated they will counter suit.
Also StarM emphasized that the innocent party, RAIN's name, has been defamed because of this and they will prepare firm confrontation legally. Rain has been preparing diligently for the concert since 3 years ago, from the start to the end. Currently, the Asian tour is finished and while in process of preparing for the US tour, the issue involving the use of RAIN's name and problems with local production occurred.
Rain visited Atlanta and New York last May and right after the Bangkok concert, he visited US embassy for an US visa. Rain's responsibility is to perform his best at the concert when everything is ready. Rain executed his duty diligently and is always fully prepared for every concert.
"The decision to cancel is made by StarM with advice from the Rain's World Tour production specialist team. Rain mandated all rights to StarM. Rain is absolutely not responsible for the cancellation of Hawaii concert. In spite of all, Click forgot basic respect to the artiste for the reparation issue between promoters and mentioned 'fraud' to the artiste. We are preparing for defamation suit against Click Entertainment. We also express our regrets to some press media who wrote malicious articles based on unconfirmed information."
They mentioned there were serious problems with local production in Hawaii aside from the issue of the using of Rain's name.
"We can not conduct the concert when there is no way we can set up the basic production formation and thrust stage that is not 100% waterproof, especially with a weather like Hawaii, where there is a lot of rain and wind", they stated. "And the local promoter insisted on holding the concert when no concert production could be set up. How can we do the concert when there is a risk that the stage might collapse?" StarM asked in return.
StarM also opened e-mails between local production manager and tour production manager to the public. They couldn't continue the process when there is no basic safety for the artiste and tour equipment worth millions of dollars.
According to the e-mails, there are serious problems with venue rental schedule, no acknowledged lists of requested equipments and most of all, warning of safety and local production preparation on unsafe thrust stage for production formation.
In addition, they pointed problems with the USA tour promoter, Revolution Entertainment who should control and manage local promoters.
Revolution Entertainment was contracted on Feb. 9th for 5 North America concerts for $2.25 million and it in turn sold to local promoters the rights for the Hawaii and Canada concerts. In the process of resale, Revolution Entertainment didn't maintain the control of local production which should have been in agreement with StarM's marketing and ticket pricing. In addition, according to Click Entertainment, Click said they paid in full, the concert right fee, $500,000 before May. But Revolution didn't paid any balance after the down payment of $450,000 around 20th Feb. Click should process litigation to Revolution for reparation. But Click is processing the litigation not to only non related parties, StarM, JYPE but also the artiste, Rain.
StarM emphasized they will confront firmly on this matter.
Also, StarM has notified Revolution of the termination of the contract on May 24th, due to violations of contract by missing payment dates. Revolution should relayed the termination to Click. In fact, StarM tried to work with Click to make the Hawaii concert happen even after the termination.
That was to avoid damages to the local promoter more than monetary loss to StarM. But due to the production problems that was stated above and the lawsuit about the name issue, we announced the postponement of the US tour on 7th Jun.
StarM announced the postponement to press after receiving the memorandum from Revolution stating Revolution will be responsible for all costs due to damages occurred and ticket refunds.
We are considering legal litigation to Revolution for not fulfilling the promise.
Also mentioned lawsuit about Rain name provisional disposition.
After the lawsuit about Rain's service right on Feb. 20th, we tried very hard to resolve this matter outside of court. But negotiations failed due to Rain Corp's unreasonable demand. On May 15th, Rain's name provisional disposition lawsuit is filed and even after that, we tried to continue the tour by changing the concert name, etc. But we have no idea what the outcome of ruling will be and there was no way we could continue the concert tour without huge reparations. In addition, on top of that, we are having on going problems with agreement with the local production.
"This is the reason we had to cancel the Hawaii concert," StarM explained.
StarM is now preparing the counter suit to Click and also preparing litigation for defamation of Rain.

Last night, after a long day at work ( I left around 2010), I took a cab home.
The driver was rather chatty. He asked about my work and told me a little about himself. Somehow, we came to the topic about nasty passengers. I asked him how does he deals with the bitter taste in the mouth that such assholes leave behind.
He said to take it easy. One thng he said, struck me very hard and left a deep impression. He said that being a cab driver is just as being in the service line. Since you are in this line, you should have the mental preparation and expect to experience all kinds of crappy things.
It is not a difficult thing to understand, yet, I realized that I never had that kind of mental preparation. Even after all these years in the service line.
This is a very important lesson which I will take to heart. Since, I have decided to go into the service line again. A different route, but still the same trunk.
I am glad and thank God for this new insight.

Hello, this is Rain.
I came to be over twenty-five years old already.
I thought I might always be able to stay at my junior age; I'm in my mid-twenties already.
I still feel the high school girls, who put on the uniforms, as my sisters,
I cannot believe that I became mid-twenty.
Anyway, thanks for the message of happy birthday.
I'm so happy for you guys' messages.
It will be more wonderful if I could spend this time with you guys.
I'm also so sorry.
However, I've decided to contribute my birthday to my future.
(I didn' t have a seaweed soup yet… too bad..)
Now I'm staying in LA, meeting all relevant people with regards to the movie and
my English Album.
The movie, " Speed Racer," which I will take shooting from next month, will be very fun.
It will be such a great experience, and I 'm so excited to work with so many good talents.
And also look forward to the album.
I'm having meetings with good people and preparing a huge project.
The movie and the album will come out next year.
And above all, I m very thankful for all your support to help the Asian concerts finish very well.
This tour was planned 3 years ago, and all the people did work really hard.
However, it was you guys who made it.
I do appreciate all your support!
Now on the way to America for the concerts, I faced a couple of problems such as the
name of "Rain" and the production issue.
I'm very sad and upset, since I really wanted to keep my promise with you guys.
I had to forgive so many things because of this tour, but..
Besides, a lot of rumors came out due to the production problem.
I hope that people 's greed don't ruin our concerts anymore.

This special type of ad that restrains the sending of commercial messages has appealed more to customers and has actively been used by public US corporations in recent days.
The Korea Tourism Organization has been airing an ad utilizing its slogan 'Korea Sparkling!' with Rain as the model since April to 17 countries worldwide. The ad's visual is considered to promote Korea's energy and softness. A CNN official, after watching the ad, proposed that the tourism organization produce another ad in a different style, which is how the latest deal came about.
KNTO director Cha So-hee says the new ad has been made exclusively for CNN and is expected to significantly promote Korean tourism during the months of July and August.

I am more selfish. All these are for myself. I want to earn more money for myself, for my studies, not for anyone.
If now, my mother tells me that she will help out with my school fees, do u think I will say 'yes'?
After all, the purpose of my joining cabin crew is to get money.
Do u think I will say 'yes' to my mother?
If she comes before this cabin crew thingy, 99% I wouldn't want to accept it because of pride. She let me down very hard. That would be the last time I give her or anyone such a chance. I won't give anyone a chance to do it to me again.
Thus, i won't accept but I will still be tempted to because it is not easy taking out a loan. I have done my sums. I will be needing my sister's help if i don't want to incur sky high interest on my loan.
But because of pride and self protection, I wont say 'yes', thus the remaining 1% is naught.
I don't wany to give her another chance to hurt me. No other chance that she'll harp on about her helping me, that i should be grateful and sorta be on my knees because of the help.
Right this moment, now that I've decided to go for cabin crew, my 99% 'no' to her, has turned into 100% 'NO'.
By working as a cabin crew, I will have the ability to earn my own school fees.

I don't know what I want. I don't know if what i think I want, is what I want.
I want to study and work in the writing line, to write articles without mis-representation, so that they will not be a cause of hurt to the person involved.
Because, he is the one who said that, "An article with mis-representation can pierce the other's heart."
That is why I decided that, that is what I want to do; but beneath it, I AM interested in writing. So what he said is not 100% reason why I want to write.
But he is the one who gave me the reason to want to try it out.
On the other hand, what on earth am I thinking about, trying out as a cabin crew? My reasons are: I like flying, though I detest catering to others' whims. I want to earn more money. Money is of importance now. I want to experience the world (what better way than to be as a cabin crew? One most important fact: I am flying free of charge).
Another thing to consider is that, I do know that being a cabin crew is not really what I want to be. It is just for the money, flying and a tad of vanity. Going into this will set my studies back by a few years. Am I truly able to wait? One thing I am sure is that, if I do not go into it right now, I will not be able to, after my studies. For as every one knows, the life as a cabin crew is short. If I stop now, I will never be able to go in. But, going in, will set me back a few years, from what I think I want. Can I take it? Am I agreeable with it?
I have thought about it, to take those years as a cabin crew as some form of training. A training in order that I may be able to study and go into what I think I want.
Is that alright?
I am asking myself.
Why must I go into the cabin crew line? I am asking myself now. My answers are listed above. In addition, I have set my mind on it. Thus, I want to go into it. I want to try out, to experience it. Good or bad, come what may. For I have decided.
Since I have decided, then there will be no looking back.
No turning back.
No regretting.
For I decided it for myself; thus, the fruits of my decision, sweet or bitter and sour, I will accept it. I have no one to blame but myself. What I have decided, I will not allow myself to regret, even if I do regret.
I want to study and work in the writing line, to write articles without mis-representation, so that they will not be a cause of hurt to the person involved.

That is why I decided that, that is what I want to do; but beneath it, I AM interested in writing. So what he said is not 100% reason why I want to write.
But he is the one who gave me the reason to want to try it out.
On the other hand, what on earth am I thinking about, trying out as a cabin crew? My reasons are: I like flying, though I detest catering to others' whims. I want to earn more money. Money is of importance now. I want to experience the world (what better way than to be as a cabin crew? One most important fact: I am flying free of charge).
Another thing to consider is that, I do know that being a cabin crew is not really what I want to be. It is just for the money, flying and a tad of vanity. Going into this will set my studies back by a few years. Am I truly able to wait? One thing I am sure is that, if I do not go into it right now, I will not be able to, after my studies. For as every one knows, the life as a cabin crew is short. If I stop now, I will never be able to go in. But, going in, will set me back a few years, from what I think I want. Can I take it? Am I agreeable with it?
I have thought about it, to take those years as a cabin crew as some form of training. A training in order that I may be able to study and go into what I think I want.
Is that alright?
I am asking myself.
Why must I go into the cabin crew line? I am asking myself now. My answers are listed above. In addition, I have set my mind on it. Thus, I want to go into it. I want to try out, to experience it. Good or bad, come what may. For I have decided.
Since I have decided, then there will be no looking back.
No turning back.
No regretting.
For I decided it for myself; thus, the fruits of my decision, sweet or bitter and sour, I will accept it. I have no one to blame but myself. What I have decided, I will not allow myself to regret, even if I do regret.

Rain (25, aka Jung Jihoon), who headed towards the global stage with a pure local packaging, sent his congratulations to leading complimentary publication, "Focus papers", which is celebrating its 1000th issue.
The Unstoppable Greed
Rain possesses many unique characteristics which may lead one into thinking that he's a workaholic. Jobs which people are having difficulties handling on their own, Rain took on a few of them at one go. First it was an album. With a blink of the eye, he came up with a new drama serial, then the movie, and then the concert. His schedule is packed every day, 365 days in a year.
"When I see a chance coming, I simply have to go do it, go grab it. So I usually do it first and then see what happens. Those backend work are thrown to my manager to take care of, so I got scolded quite a bit for that. I can't help it. I simply have to give it a try." He is Rain, who persisted through his 3 years & 4 months training as a trainee, simply with a stubborn streak of "it has to be this way (it's do or die)".
From his first album till now, he still insists on practising his singing for two hours while running on the trackmill for every day. He's never slacked on his dance practise before too.
"When I was young, somebody who taught me how to dance said this, 'If you lie awake at night, it's because you haven't done enough'. So when I can't sleep at night, I'll go practise then sleep. I've always been like that."

He mixed with kids who share the same passion as he does for dancing, but it felt like something was lacking. He wanted to start off somewhere decent. Thereafter, he had that fateful encounter with Park Jinyoung when he was in the 2nd year of high school.

"Half of Jinyoung hyung's work was about me. I've always felt bad about that. Now, I want to return Jinyoung hyung his chance to work. Saying we're completely separated was a rash judgement. I hope to slowly think about this while I rest when the world tour is over."
He's a little fearful about "flying solo". Although he's launched his 4th album, the shadow of Park Jinyoung still follows him aroung.
"It's a fact that up to my 4th album, I had been performing on the stage through Jinyoung hyung's music. I won't make the rash decision of becoming a producer the moment I leave my 'nest'. I can't even take care of myself now. When I'm really confident, I will then challenge the role of a music producer."
He has a box in his room. It's his idea box. It's creativity that flashed by when he was looking at passing buses, an old man's cane and other daily things.
"I flip through my idea notebook before I start on each album. I'd see if there's anything in there I can use. It's my number one treasure chest."
He Wants to Lend Strength to Those Who Feels Sad When They Remember Their Mothers
"Mother" is the strength behind the Rain of today. Perhaps it's because his mother was the one who led him to a decent path which led to his present position when he went astray. When he talks about his mother, he'll always feel choked, his eyes'll always turn red.
"Mother had nothing but pain when she was alive. I really want to let her ride on a plane, buy her a nice house to live in...when I'm feeling breathless on the stage, I'll think 'this is nothing compared to the pain mother had to endure when we didn't have money for her pain-killing injections.' That's how I survive till today."
Rain, who understood how patients felt, decided to lend a helping hand when he heard about An So Pong, a fan of his who has been diagnosed to be suffering from the later stage of cancer.
"Anybody else would do the same thing. I've taken care of the sick before, so I know very well the pain of those who are sick and the people around them. It's something (a kind deed) which anybody could have done. After the media reported widely about this, I felt very apologetic towards them. I hope they overcome the demon of illness."
International Star: Still in The Making
He started his world concert tour in December. Come this July and August, he will be filming a hollywood film, "Speed Racer". As a singer, an actor, he is moving toward the global stage. However, the title of "International star" is at present, a burden to him.
" I really like the movie 'The Matrix'. It's a dream come true being able to work with the Wachowski brothers who made this film. But I'm not going to elaborate on this collaboration just yet. There is still a language barrier, and I'm just starting to work on my acting skill. This is just a small step in the entire process."
Next year, he had plans to go into the US market with an album. He hopes this movie would succeed, providing a stepping stone for his entry into the US market.
"Being an artiste is a profession which allows one to bring joy and comfort to people through presenting skills wielding the weapons you know best. Whether it's music, TV serial or movies, my first consideration is the public. My wish is for my fans, who are young now, to be able remember me when they see rain falling from the sky in their old age. I want to be a singer and actor whom people will reminised about; one who can release ever-lasting fragrance in history."

Rain Will Use His Name for US Concerts, US court Dismissed the Law Suit

World Star, Rain is able to use his name for US concerts after all.
StarM, who conducting Rain’s world tour, announced US court dismissed the law suit from Rain Corp. which requesting not to use Rain name in Rain’s concert in USA on 22nd of June.
Earlier, Rain Corp. from Nevada filed law suit requesting Rain should not use name Rain for his USA concerts.
This company has a Beatle Tribute band called ‘Rain’ and the reason for the law suit was they have the service right register for the name, Rain.
They filed the law suit for service right on Feb. 22 and also filed the request Rain to stop the US concert tour. Therefore Rain’s US concert became a vague and ended up postponing US concerts.
StarM said, “US concerts are already postponed so we are discussing reschedule of concerts (ATL, NY, SF, LA) will release new schedule once it is decided”.

Most of the big load dumped on me, has been removed. In other words, I have cleared that stupid pile of replies from the consultant and sent them on their way to our sub-contractors.
Now, I am just lazing around, doing some work here and there and wait till I feel like leaving. There is no dinner for me at home tonight, thus I will be buying food before going home.
Actually, I do have some stuff to do, but I am feeling rather lazy; plus, I do think that I deserve a break after all that slogging through the small mountain of papers. I sigh when I think about the work which are waiting for me. I need to check through our registers and compare them with the consultant's record. It is not that difficult, but it is tedious and confusing as hell when one side says this and the other side says that. If that happens, I will need to dig through our records and hard copies, if nothing comes to light, I will have to bring this up to my manager. (Notice that in the previous sentence, I said, "If that happens". 'When' and 'If' gives off 2 very different meanings. 'When' gives off the meaning that, that some thing you dread will happen, it is only a matter of when. 'If' is better, that dreaded thing may happen or may not happen. It is an uncertainity.
I have grown addicted to listening to songs while working. =p I've complied quite an impressive list online. I do not need to download the songs, I just add the songs which I like, into a playlist of my own. See? It is that simple. If you are interested, you can go to: http://www.esnips.com/

Rain expresses his heavy feeling about the postponement of US tour due to the name ‘Rain’ and also wants to bring this world tour to successful conclusion.

Rain's spokesperson said, ‘We’ve seen several articles regarding postponement of US tour. Some mentioned about Monetary issues and some mentioned others. It is very distressing when you hear the press saying the concert is postponed because of monetary issue.

The court shall announce their decision on June 14. Thus, the Hawaii concert is delayed.
Nonetheless, a domestic media blamed Rain and the main organiser as 'to lock up the capital of investors' by cancelling the Hawaii concert. They also said that the investors may have the risk of bankruptcy.

The fame of Korean heavenly king, Rain, has been spiraling upwards since 2003. His popularity has spred throughout Asia, filling concert stadiums in different countries and creating a whirlwind wherever he goes. For this, yemaozhong and our client have long established a common agreement: Rain is the sole consideration for endorsing this new product. We had a shock when we first got to know Rain's fees: it was twice the amount of what Jay Chou is charging. The contract negotiation went on for two months, and it was only three days before the shoot that we got the signatures on the dotted line. The time for preparation was unbelievably short; it was almost mission impossible. Thank goodness our production team members at yemaozhong are an experienced bunch. Under such short timeline, Rain's first CF in China still managed to kick off and conclude systematically.
This photoshoot session gave yemaozhong an insight on the stern and professional attitude of Koreans.
A Sneezy Rain
10.30am, Rain arrived in Shanghai from Korea. The moment he got off the plane, Rain was rushed to the studio to start work. He was also nursing a flu. During the session, he kept sneezing. But we needed to do was to supply him with a piece of tissue and everything went on as usual without a minute of delay. He looked so fresh in front of the camera, it was difficult to tell he was sneezing non-stop just a minute ago. Rain's professionalism charmed the crew members there, "Charming appearance with a manly built" was the crew members' description of him.
During the shoot, Yemaozhong also got into the work himself. Standing beside this 1.84m tall individual, I was shorter by a head. Through gesturing and body language, Rain understood immediately - we didn't need a translator at all. He was indeed a legendary dancer: his movements were so beautiful. An A-grade star indeed!
Attire and Bodyguard
All the costumes for the shoot had been confirmed before the session, but Rain still brought along two trunks of clothing especially for this shoot. According to his costume stylist, these were prepared in case of problems with the costumes during the shoot. Rain has especially broad shoulders, so his clothes are all specially tailored. Most mass-produced sizes won't fit him. They've thought of all these even for prep work. Korean artistes are remarkably professional.
Rain's bodyguard looked mass-produced. They're the kind you often see in Kdramas. Although their silence intimidates you a little, they put on a smile constantly after knowing the crew members. Occasionally, they'll utter a few "sorry".
From manager to costume stylists, all of them are friendly but stern at work. They requested for crew passes before the shoot. The film site only recognises passes, not people. This studio of yemaozhong has filmed more than 200 artistes before, but this is the first time we see meet with this situation. We can really learn a few things from the way the Koreans work.
Rain Speaks Chinese
Speaking Chinese is difficult to Rain, just like it's difficult for us to understand Korean. But Rain had practised his CF lines way before the shoot. During breaks, he was still muttering "ai shang fei cake". The final pronunciation was much better than we had anticipated. After all, we have heard other Korean stars speak Chinese before.
After the shoot, Rain, who has gone back to his resting room, suddenly popped back. Wearing his charming smile, he shook each of the crew member's hand along with very well-pronounced "xie xie (thank you)". Once again, we experienced this big boy's humbleness and the civilised manners of the Koreans.
Looks like there's a reason this big boy became Asia's Heavenly King.

There are those who patiently argues with the security for half a day; there are those who tried to get into the studio using their own-manufactured passes; there are those who spied on the happenings in the studio using the mirrors in the toilet outside the studio. Many booked cars to chase after his car; some followed Rain to his hotel and booked a room there for themselves. We're talking about a 3000rmb per night room here. RAIN's dance moves are FANTASTIC.

Perfect Interaction Wang Lee Hom feat Bi & Lim Jeong Hee
In Leehom's new album "Heroes of Earth", Leehom collaborated with the Korean Superstar Rain and sang "Perfect Interaction". Although there was no interaction between Leehom and Rain, Leehom is still very satisfied with the song.
This is Rain's first time singing a Chinese song. Leehom said, Rain's pronunciation is excellent and doesn't sound weird. As the producer of the song, Leehom praises Rain and said that besides dancing, Rain can also really sing well.
Leehom met Rain through Rain's producer Hitman Bang. Because Leehom and Hitman Bang are both music producers, when they first met they had plenty to talk about and became good friends. Then this collaboration was born. Leehom is now busy promoting his new album. On the 25th, he will be performing in Las Vegas and is expected to return on the 28th. He will have is new album press conference on the 29th. Rain will also be in Taiwan during the 29th and 30th having his concert at the Taipei Arena. The record company says, if Leehom's schedule permits, he will go and support Rain at his concert. However Leehom says even if he can't make it, he'll be sure to send a flower basket.

I am acting like a smart alec.
I have come to realise that all the updating of my blog is done when I am in the office. Why? I do not know. Perhaps, because I have free time on my hands; in addition, I need a venting outlet immediately, when I suffer grief.
I am thinking again. Yes, note the emphasis on the word, 'again'. You must be groaning in agony and thinking that I think too much. I do not refute that. I do think too much.
Once again, I am thinking about the pros and cons of staying in my current job. It is not that I dislike the environment here, it is just that the pay is quite low for some one with a diploma; although one has to take into consideration what kind of job you are doing. For example, although a cleaner holds a degree, that doesn't means that he or she will get the salary, other degree holders get. It really depends on your job scope.
Thus, I am quite hesitant about asking for a pay raise after my probation period. I have been told by a friend that not all companies give pay increment after the probation period. I really do need more cash in order to support my pursue in the degree.
But on the other hand, what kind of job should I or can I look for if I quit? The new job environment may be hazardous to me. Can I deal with it?
Thick-skinned as I may seem, but I am considering to join an airline as a cabin crew. After my recent trip to Bangkok, I realized that I like flying around a lot. But again, there are quite a lot of things to take into consideration. First and foremost, my looks. I am no beauty nor pretty, not even coming close. Can I get into any airline company? I do not want to go into a 3rd class airline, though I do know that I will never qualify for a 1st class airline. I am acting strange. It must be all the talk about my looks. Some of my colleagues have been commenting about how pretty I am, what a good figure I have, how gentle I am, that I can surely get a job based on my looks. Looks like I have been listening too much to those strange words.
Taking a deeper look into things, I am planning to start school in Jan 2008. If I can really get into an airline, what about school? Flying around means inconsistent hours. My classes will be in the evenings. I doubt I can shuffle my schedule.
How?
I want to study. Yet at the same time, I am looking for a higher paying job. I really do not know what I want.
Another point to think over, is that I do not like being in the service line. I hate catering to the whims of others, bending backwards to please people. Being a cabin crew means being in the service line. I have just gotten out of the retail line and I am not going back in either. But flying interests me. I do not mind trying.
But then, who am I kidding? Based on my looks? I lose out BIG time.
Tell me, am I kidding myself?
Bah.
I am like a wanderer.
My goal, is to find, get and stay in a job which is not a job. It will be my career. That is what I want. I cannot settle for anything less.
